The school is designed to provide delegates with an overview of the aviation finance market and a comprehensive understanding of how to structure aircraft finance transactions. The agenda is updated each year to ensure that the most recent developments affecting your business are covered. Over three days, attendees are provided with both theoretical overviews and practical case study work which, on completion, allows each participant to immediately walk away with the knowledge required to execute aviation finance deals.
Attending will allow you to:
- Understand the pros and cons of the different financing methods available and how to select the most appropriate for each transaction
- Hear industry specialists explain the fundamentals of operating leases, manufacturer finance, export credit, and the main sources of finance and how you can apply these in aircraft financing
- Benefit from the combined knowledge of the Faculty who have experience of working on hundreds of transactions in a variety of different jurisdictions
Work in groups with other aviation professionals from around the world and build new business relationships over three days
CASE STUDY
The case study exercise forms a key part of the learning process in the school. Attendees will be divided into teams and the latter part of Wednesday 2nd July and Thursday 3rd July will be devoted to the case study work. This will be analysed by the Faculty and prizes will be awarded to the winning team.
Spaces at the school are limited, ensuring that everyone on the course is able to put their specific questions to the Faculty and receive dedicated instruction. This is clearly welcomed by participants – each year our European, Hong Kong and New York Schools sell out weeks in advance. So register your place today to ensure you don’t miss out on the 2008 European Summer School of International Aviation Finance.
