David Hoag spent over a decade at CME Group

David Hoag has joined Chicago-based clearing house OCC as the firm's chief information officer.

The technology executive, who joins from Halo Investing, will report to John Davidson, OCC’s new president and chief operating officer.

At Halo, Hoag helped developed a pre-defined market return trading platform for investors.

He also spent over a decade at CME Group earlier in his career, leading the exchanges’ IT team responsible for clearing and settlement activities

Hoag succeeds Luke Moranda, who is now senior information technology advisor to Davidson.
