Mr. Schickel serves as a Managing Director and is the Head of ZAIS's London Office, ZAIS Group (UK) Limited. He is also a member of ZAIS's Management Advisory Committee. He is responsible for business development in Europe and the Middle East. Additionally, Mr. Schickel has been responsible for European ABS investments since joining ZAIS in August of 2010. Before this he worked in Commodities Trading with Glencore International AG, Zug, Switzerland. Previously Mr. Schickel was responsible for Structured Credit Product Sales, specifically ABS and CDO/CLOs at Lehman Brothers in London. Before that he gained experience in several assignments in commercial and investment banking and management consulting. Mr. Schickel received a "Master de Grande Ecole" as well as a "Diplom Kaufmann" from ESCP Europe and a M.Sc. from City University London. He speaks German, English and French fluently.
