Lyndon Skinner

Lyndon joined KfW IPEX in 2008 to build the bank´s book of structured commodity finance business based in the Head Office in Frankfurt. He has been involved with trade and commodity finance since the mid nineties and with emerging markets for most of his banking career. Lyndon has considerable experience in the structuring of soft commodity transactions in Latin America, including Brazil, Argentina and Colombia as well as hard commodity deals for exporters in Mexico and the Far East. After starting his banking career as a trainee with Commerzbank, London Branch, Lyndon spent fourteen years with Dresdner Bank at their Frankfurt head office starting in sovereign risk restructuring with a focus on debt/equity swaps before developing and marketing structured trade finance products aimed at mitigating specific country risk in commercial lending operations in emerging markets. Lyndon has an MA in law from Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by Gray´s Inn in 1990.
