Riverside Risk Advisors

Chris Frost founded Riverside Risk Advisors in 2009. Since then, the Firm has advised project sponsors and developers on interest rate and foreign exchange hedges for more than 100 transactions in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Europe and South Africa. Notable transactions include foreign exchange hedging for Northland Power's acquisition of Gemini, interest rate hedging for Cheniere Energy's $5.9 billion financing for Sabine Pass LNG, and multiple hedge advisory transactions with BluEarth Renewables. Prior to starting Riverside, Chris was a Managing Director at Societe Generale for 14 years where he ran the interest rate and foreign exchange derivatives sales business in the Americas. Prior to Societe Generale, Chris worked at Citicorp where he marketed fixed income derivatives primarily to energy companies. Before Citicorp, Chris worked in the Equities Division at Goldman Sachs and in the fixed income and commercial banking areas at The Northern Trust Bank.Chris earned a BA in economics from Duke University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Chris is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
