Birgitta Heinze looks back to more than 25 years' experience in export finance. As Head of Structured Export Finance at BHF-BANK, Frankfurt am Main, Germany she is responsible for all products in relation to medium and long term export and project finance as well as short term forfaiting business. The clients are corporates, financial institutions and governmental bodies domiciled mainly in the Emerging Markets as well as German and Western European exporting companies. Birgitta Heinze represents BHF-BANK in export finance matters among the German association of private banks and is member of the so-called Hermes-Expertenkreis as well as of Women in Foreign Trade (WIFT). Birgitta Heinze joined BHF-BANK in 1984 as a management trainee. Prior to her current position, she had worked in several functions in export and trade finance. She structured and arranged multi sourced transactions and long-term ECA covered facilities, partly based on countertrade, as well as frame agreements, focusing on Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey, MENA, Africa and Asia. Birgitta Heinze holds a Master's Degree in Business Economics from the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main (Germany).
