Bruce Drossman has viewed Export Credit Agencies from three distinct vantage points over the course of his career - as a lender, an exporter, and as an agency staff member. He is Senior Vice President, ECA Deal Advisory, at GE Energy Financial Services /Global Markets, and is based in Washington, DC. The Global Markets team mission is to help drive GE sales in developing markets with buyer finance solutions. Bruce joined GE in January 2014 following four years’ business development experience at the Export-Import Bank as a Regional Director, and a 26-year banking career in New York and Paris. During his last 7 years with Société Générale, as Director –Export Finance/USA, he originated, structured, negotiated, and executed long term financings in support of equipment sales from the US to developing markets buyers. Bruce sits on the Advisory Board of the Private Export Funding Corporation. A resident of the District of Columbia, his heart still belongs to Hoboken. Bruce received his B.A. from Rutgers University and graduate degrees from SUNY Albany and Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs.
