Jose Felix Magaña

Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI)

Jose Felix is a finance professional with ample experience in project finance, capital markets and private equity. He is part of the Senior Management at CABEI, the multilateral development Bank of Central America. Currently He heads the Private Sector arm & Non-Sovereign business at the Bank. Primarily responsible for putting together financing for large infrastructure projects in renewable energy, transportation & logistics in 11 countries. He leads business development outside of Central America, both sovereign and non-sovereign, including social infrastructure.

Previously, he was the Bank´s Treasurer and in this capacity, he managed fixed income and derivative portfolios and executed Bond deals in 20 countries in North, Central and South America, Asia and Europe. Jose Felix has also served at the investment, advisory and risk Committee, and at the Board, of various open-ended and private equity funds. He is Director of the Interamerican Corporation for Infrastructure Financing. Prior to CABEI, He held consulting and managerial positions in companies in the Pharmaceutical and Transportation industries, respectively.

Jose Felix holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University and a Master in Business Economics from INCAE Business School.
