PPP Centre of the Philippines

Director for the Project Development Service at the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center of the Philippines. She joined the PPP Center after completing her Master of Corporate Law degree from the University of Cambridge. As the Director for Project Development Service, Christine is in charge of all the Philippine PPP projects in the Government pipeline, from the structuring of the project, to securing the necessary Government approvals, bidding, and finally to the award of the project to the private proponent. Prior to the PPP Center, she worked for more than two years with the Privatization and Management Office (PMO) under the Philippine Department of Finance, where she was the Deputy Privatization Officer, in charge of the preparation and implementation of the privatization plan for the Government assets slated for privatization by the PMO. In 2012, she led the Government in closing one of its biggest privatization transactions, a sale of a 74-hectare metropolitan property priced at around USD 600 million. Before joining the Government in 2011, Christine worked for 5 years at one of the biggest corporate law firms in the country, Castillo Laman Tan Pantaleon & San Jose, where she specialized in project financing, having closed a number of financing transactions involving power projects privatized by the Philippine Government.
