Dr Tara Lindstedt is Managing Director of EP Global Energy Ltd ( Tara's main interests are technology and innovation, forming alliances to fast tract access to affordable and "clean" electricity for all. She has over 25 years of professional experience in Europe, USA, Asia, and the Middle East. Her Sector experience includes Renewable and Conventional energy, Environmental and Risk related services, Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Financial Services, and Cleantech. Tara has participated in around 300 MW of wind projects in operation and and a pipeline of around 500 MW currently under development. Notable projects the 80 MW Chirnogeni Wind Farm financed by EBRD (the first project financed wind asset in Romania) which won the Deal of the Year award for 2012, and, the 117 MW JWPC Tafila Wind Farm in Jordan (the first utility scale Wind Farm in the Middle East) financed by the IFC, EIB, OFIC, and 3 other leading International Financial Institutions, which won the renewable deal of the year for ME in 2013. Prior to EPGE, Tara worked at Salomon Brothers (now part of Citigroup), Goldman Sachs, and, Coopers & Lybrand (now part of PWC), and was actively involved in the founding Angels Program at Imperial Innovations, Imperial College. Her primary focus at present is the DREAM Initiative (Developing Renewable Energy in Africa and Middle east) and the raising of the DREAM Fund 1 and DREAM Fund 2. Tara holds a BSC (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from University College London, an MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, a Diploma of Imperial College (D.I.C.), and a PhD in Fluid Mechanics also from Imperial College.
