Fadi Selwan, 50, is a graduate of the French engineering school École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He entered the Eiffage Group in 1990. In 2001, he joined Eiffage Concessions where he was appointed Deputy Director with responsibility for infrastructure. He was in charge of developing concession projects and public-private partnerships, in particular for highways, rail lines and equipment, public lighting and urban transportation.Fadi joined the VINCI Group in 2007 as head of the VINCI Concessions Business Development unit. In 2011, he became a member of the VINCI Management and Coordination Committee.He was appointed Executive Vice-President of VINCI Concessions in 2012, and Chairman of VINCI Highways in 2014.Since 2007 Fadi has been leading VINCI Concessions' business development, working to export the VINCI Group's expertise in complex projects worldwide. He has successfully closed more than 27 public-private partnerships for more than €17 billion. These include the Tours-Bordeaux high-speed rail line, the Nice and Bordeaux stadiums in France, the Ohio River Bridges in the United States, the PR1BINA expressway in Slovakia, two road network maintenance PFI contracts in the UK - the Isle of Wight and the Hounslow projects - and many other high value projects.
