Event Overview

Global Export Finance Conference 2016

Last year Simon Sayer from Deutsche Bank said that GEF was refreshed, re-energised and very relevant.

In 2016, we are taking GEF to the next level.

To celebrate 17 years as the largest and most influential gathering of global export finance professionals, we are moving the event to Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria, in Rome, Italy.

At our 2015 event we welcomed over 600 delegates from 44 countries worldwide, and this year we are planning to expand our delegate list and make GEF even bigger.

Your new GEF 2016

To make sure you get the most out of the event, we have introduced new agenda features, including:

  • The Italian Breakfast Briefing; for you to catch up on the latest news over a coffee and breakfast to kick off Day One
  • The Global Head's Town Hall session;  where you can shape the agenda by challenging the Global Heads to answer questions relevant to your business and the industry
  • Global Pavilions; this exciting new layout concept will create a festival of content and networking. You will be able to hop from one pavilion to another, creating your own agenda, and network with the rest of delegates in a centralised business lounge

You have not seen anything like this before.

Have a look at our agenda, and explore your opportunities at GEF 2016.

GEF 2016 briefing days

In 2016 we are introducing two briefing days - the 2nd Global Export Finance Africa briefing day, and the new Global Export Finance Middle East briefing day.

Both briefing days will be hosted at the same time, at the same venue - the day before the event.

It gives you a great opportunity to get to know the African and Middle Eastern markets even better, networking with representatives from both regions, and making the most out of the event.
