Destin Cook is a director of finance for NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NEE), a leading clean energy company. Mr. Cook is also director of finance for NextEra Energy Canada, NextEra Energy Capital Holdings and Florida Power & Light Company (FPL). Responsible for assisting with the execution of the financing plan for NextEra Energy and various subsidiaries, he focuses on project finance and tax equity, corporate debt and equity, and derivative transactions. Mr. Cook joined NextEra Energy in 2007. Prior to his employment with NextEra Energy, he held a project management position at an accounting firm. Mr. Cook holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Emory University, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida. NextEra Energy, Inc.
