Kerri L. Fox heads BBVA’s North American Project Finance Team, which is based in New York. In this capacity, Kerri focuses on the origination, structuring and execution of project and other structured financings in the U.S. and Canada, across a variety of industry spaces including: renewable power, conventional power, oil & gas, LNG, infrastructure and public-private-partnerships (transportation/roads and social infrastructure). Kerri has more than 20 years of experience in project finance, and has worked closely with clients as a financial advisor and bookrunner / lead arranger, and as legal counsel. Prior to joining BBVA in March 2009, Kerri was responsible for the Global Export and Project Finance business of Fortis from New York. She also previously covered integrated energy and natural resource clients as part of Deutsche Bank’s Project and Structured Finance team, and began her career as a project finance attorney at Milbank Tweed. Kerri’s transactional experience in the energy sector includes: Energy Transfer, Sunoco Logistics and Phillips 66’s Bakken and Dakota Access Pipelines; Cheniere and Blackstone’s Sabine Pass LNG; Cheniere’s Corpus Christi LNG; Freeport LNG; Cameron LNG; a confidential water and oil pipeline transaction; NET Midstream’s NETMexico gas pipeline project; Sempra’s Copper Mountain Solar 3 project; Tenaska’s CSolar IV South project; EME’s Crofton, Broken Bow and Laredo wind farms; NRG’s refinancing of Crofton and Broken Bow; BP and Sempra’s Fowler Ridge II and Cedar Creek wind farms; BP and Dominion’s Fowler Ridge I wind farm; NextEra’s Genesis solar thermal project; AES Gener’s Ventanas power project in Chile; GDF Suez’s CTA power project in Chile; the GNL Quintero LNG regasification project in Chile; Financial Advisor for Excelerate in connection with an offshore LNG project and vessel financing; Financial Advisor for Marathon’s Baja LNG regasification project; and Financial Advisor to PetroChina in connection with partner selection for the West-East Gas pipeline project. Her infrastructure experience includes: The Port of Miami Tunnel project; the Long Beach Courthouse project; the Ohio State University parking project; the Jordan Bridge reconstruction project; various segments of the Calgary and Edmonton Ring Roads; the Canada Line and the Sea-to-Sky Highway upgrade. Kerri holds an A.B. from Brown University and a JD from Harvard Law School. She is a Director on the Board of Alterra Power Corp.
