Keith Allman

Keith Allman is a vice president of Loomis, Sayles & Company and senior securitized asset analyst for the mortgage and structured finance team. He specializes in ABS transportation, commercial and esoteric securities, including aircraft, rail and shipping containers. Keith is the primary aviation ABS analyst with over $600 million invested in aircraft ABS debt and equity.

Keith joined Loomis Sayles in 2016 and has 16 years of investment industry experience. Previously, he was a director at Deutsche Bank, where he was a lead banker for transportation assets, including aviation ABS transactions.  He has experience with all aspects of aviation ABS transactions including specialized work with appraisers, maintenance evaluators, counsel, and rating agencies. Keith was also responsible for formulating funding strategy, pitching clients on new structures and facilities, maintaining and renewing existing facilities, and executing ABS take outs.  He also covered other esoteric ABS asset classes, including railcar, marine shipping containers, equipment, rental fleet and timeshare.

Prior to this, he has held other roles in structured finance with Citigroup, where he worked on multiple transportation ABS investments, Pearl Street Capital Group where he built and ran stochastic credit simulations to determine credit risk for securitizations, and redesigned and implemented new analysis methodologies to simulate corporate defaults. He also worked on pre-credit crisis aviation ABS deals as part of the quantitative analytics group at MBIA.
Keith has authored five books on finance, two of which are related to securitization. He earned two BAs from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MA from Columbia University. He also serves on the advisory board of Relief International.
