Andreas is a Credit Risk Product Specialist for Moody’s Analytics. He joined Moody’s KMV in 2006 in a client support role and in 2007 joined the company’s training team. He delivered training across the full range of the company’s credit risk products and he specializes in the methodology of calculating default probabilities, the risk measurement and valuation of credit instruments and portfolios and in economic capital calculation and allocation.
Prior to joining Moody’s KMV, Andreas was working as an Account Officer at the Leasing Department of ASPIS BANK in Athens, Greece, where he was also responsible for the implementation of the Basel II framework for the measurement and management of credit risk.
Andreas holds a BSc in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Essex, an MSC in Finance and an MPhil in Value at Risk from Leicester University. He is a certified Derivatives Trader by the Athens Derivatives Exchange and in addition to English he speaks Greek and French.
