Nick Sarad, co-leader of Pillsbury’s Projects team, has significant experience in global power and transportation projects, including Public-Private Partnerships.
Nick has extensive involvement in international project finance and infrastructure includes major transportation, thermal and renewable power, biofuels, water, mining and process plants. Financial institutions, developers, equity investors and government agencies rely on his sophisticated grasp of project structuring, development and financing issues, and his day to day operations and maintenance advice. Nick also advises on project site selection and government incentive location packages, and represents lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured corporate, asset-based and structured financings.
Representative Experience:
Represented the underwriters in connection with the issuance of tax-exempt private activity bonds for the Portsmouth Bypass Project, the first P3 road construction project in Ohio.
Serving as project counsel in the development, financing and operations of the Idaho Wind Partners’ 183-megawatt portfolio of wind generation projects under contact to Idaho Power.
