However, with Indonesia´s 35,000 megawatt power programme being under review and decreasing ROIs of India´s renewable energy deals, could other countries take the lead?
  • Pakistan is addressing its 5,000MW shortage and regular blackouts, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) is forecasting the country will need $40 billion investment in power projects over the next four years while Bangladesh´s government is aiming to generate 20,000MW from coal by 2030. The Philippines is also exploring alternative power sources now coal is out of favour.
