Event Overview

Exploring Chile's new opportunities and challenges in infrastructure and energy financing

Following a very successful launch event in 2017, IJGlobal will again host the Chilean Infrastructure & Energy Finance Forum in Santiago. A new administration is to be sworn into office in March and this event will be the perfect opportunity to hear first-hand from the most important Ministries as to their programs and plans for the project pipeline. With participation from the leading project sponsors, investors, local and international banks, legal and technical advisors, this event will provide a platform for debate about the state of the market and impact of these new policies on investment.

Questions surrounding the much-debated government infrastructure fund, its pending approval scope of mandate, and impact on infrastructure financing will be discussed as well as expectations for future concessions in roads, ports, hospitals, telecoms and more.

Clarification will be sought about upcoming tenders and auctions in the energy space, especially as the sector begins to re-energize and prices rise.

Additional trends, such as an uptick in M&A will be covered, and case studies of landmark transactions will round out the event.

Join us in June to be part of the debate and take advantage of first-class networking opportunities at this not to be missed event.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • New initiatives of the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Energy
  • Outlook for the project pipeline: Assessing opportunities in ports, roads, telecoms, social infrastructure, energy and more
