Event Overview

Following a hugely successful inaugural event, IJGlobal returns to Buenos Aires on June 28th 2018 to host the Argentina Energy & Infrastructure Finance Forum

The event gathers the leading players in the market representing government decision makers, project developers and local and international investors active in the energy and infrastructure space.
The market is full of momentum and opportunity as the Macri government continues to push forward with their ambitious PPP program. Spanning several sectors, the program is expected to attract US$26.5 billion in investment, to help overcome the significant infrastructure deficit in Argentina and allow the economy to achieve it’s full potential. With recent and upcoming tenders, notably in roads, water and social infrastructure, the forum will explore how PPPs are being rolled out, what contracts will look like, and assess the opportunities for financing.
In the energy space, we will explore questions around how the projects emerging from recent auctions will be funded, including the role of commercial financial and multilateral lenders, and what structures will be used to finance these projects. The forum will review results of auctions for transmission lines and debate the opportunities in energy related infrastructure.
Join us in June to get up to date with this exciting and rapidly developing energy and infrastructure market!
