Asaf Jimenez joined Ritch Mueller in 2000. In 2014, he was promoted to counsel and, as of January 2018, he became partner of the firm. He specializes in banking and finance with particular focus on project finance transactions in the electricity sector, where he has represented developers, investors and financial institutions. His M&A practice also relates mainly to transactions in such sector. Asaf has substantial experience in financing transactions involving state and municipal governments, providing advice to debtors, creditors and credit rating agencies. Asaf has led the firms’ practice in infrastructure projects under the federal public private partnership scheme.

In 2002, Asaf Jimenez obtained his law degree (with honors) from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) and a Master of Laws degree (LLM) from the University of Virginia School of Law (2006).
